Registered Nurse Maternal Child

Job Summary: Provides comprehensive professional nursing care to postpartum mothers and neonates, including transitional neonatal care and management of postoperative patients requiring advanced monitoring and life-support assistance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's in nursing from accredited school (ACEN or CCNE)
  • Work Experience: One Year of Experience in Nursing
  • License: Current unrestricted RN license in one of the 50 US States and/or territories.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider-Advanced (NRP)
    • Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support (STABLE)

US Citizenship required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive professional nursing care to postpartum mothers and neonates. Experience caring for postoperative patients.
  • Obtains patient history, and pertinent family history, and advanced medical directive information. Observes, assesses, and records symptoms, reactions, and progress assist physicians during treatments and examinations; administers medication and prescribed treatments, completes admissions and
    discharges, and promote convalescence and rehabilitation.
  • Manages care of patients for a wide range of procedures of an advanced nature and difficulty where there is a high risk for infection and bodily functions arc mechanically assisted by life support equipment.
  • Knowledge of the transitional care of neonates is required.
  • HCW’s will be required to float within similar specialties

Work Environment & Schedule: Sunday to Saturday 4,8- or 12-hour shifts, Maximum 40 hours per week

Compensation & Benefits: Up to $ 60.00 per hour + H&W
