Job Summary: Nurse Partitioner will provide comprehensive, outcome-based care as a Nurse Practitioner by diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, performing exams, promoting preventive health, and delivering patient-centered care across the lifespan in accordance with clinical guidelines and privileges. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, educates patients and staff, supports quality improvement and readiness initiatives. This position is onsite at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) including Family Health Clinic and Pediatric Clinic.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Nursing. Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross approved training program (prior to start date).
  • License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse. (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration) to practice medicine.
  • Experience: (2) years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner during the last 3 years including recent experience with Pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full range of outcome-based nurse practitioner services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF (e.g., supervise and provide general screening and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, acute and chronic conditions involving any and all organ systems; provide immunizations; diagnose, treat, and counsel patients as indicated).
  • Technically direct and teach other staff, provide evidenced-based educational lectures and participate in in-service training to staff members.
  • Diagnose and treat patients with common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, or minor trauma within accepted protocols, clinical practice guidelines, and in accordance with current privileges for the full spectrum of patients including pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
  • Promote preventive care and health maintenance including annual physicals, positive health behaviors and selfcare through both formal and individual education and counseling.
  • Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
  • Recognize conditions that require isolation and ensure universal precautions are used in all patient encounters.
  • Attend staff meetings to provide case discussion, continuing education, and continuous quality improvement and safety.
  • Perform Nurse Practitioner services in support of the readiness assessments and Deployment Related Health Assessments (DRHA).
  • MHS Genesis experience in the requested position preferred within the past 2 years.

Work Environment & Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday between 7:30am-4:30pm or 4 days with 10 hour shifts depending on the clinic's hours. Will be on a 40-hour per week basis. No weekend work.

Compensation & Benefits: Up to $ 125,000 annually + Benefits.
